MiTN campaign finance system

The Bureau of Elections has switched to the new Michigan Transparency Network (MiTN) for all Campaign Finance electronic filings. Trainings are being scheduled to aid new and existing committees navigate the system and import data from MERTS into MiTN.

All filed data from MERTS has been migrated to the new system. Contacts and Transaction input into MERTS since January 31, 2025 will need to be imported into MiTN.

The electronic Statement of Organization application (e-SofO) has replaced the paper Statement of Organization form. This application is accessible via mobile devices.

Review the training video for instructions on filing electronically.
