M-93, County Road 612 bridge work over I-75 starts April 1

GAYLORD, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $4.6 million to repair the M-93 and County Road (CR) 612 bridges over I-75 in Crawford County. Work includes substructure repairs, bridge deck resurfacing, deck patching, joint repairs, epoxy sealing, and approach repairs.

Traffic restrictions:
This work will require lane closures on I-75, with one lane of northbound and southbound maintained until May 22. Starting April 1, traffic will be maintained using the on and off ramps at the M-93 (Exit 259). Starting April 8, traffic will be maintained using the on and off ramps at the CR 612 (Exit 264).
From May 29 to July 2, the M-93 bridge will be closed. Eastbound M-93 traffic will be detoured south on I-75 to North Down River Road (Exit 256) and back north on I-75. Westbound M-93 traffic will be detoured north on I-75 to CR 612 (Exit 264) and back south on I-75.
From July 9 to Aug. 29, the CR 612 bridge will be closed. Eastbound CR 612 traffic will be detoured south on I-75 to M-93 (Exit 259) and back north on I-75. Westbound CR 612 traffic will be detoured north on I-75 to Waters (Exit 270) and back south on I-75.
Other work on the bridges will require intermittent lane closures with temporary traffic signals and traffic regulators.
