You can help prevent prescription drug abuse by spreading the word in your community. Do Your Part: Be the Solution has many resources to help you, including speakers, presentations, print materials and more.
Provider Resources
With MDHHS, these agencies implement regional prevention plans to address prescription drug misuse and illicit use.
Substance abuse prevention plans are developed and implemented through 10 regional Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans (PIHPs). To find the agency responsible for prevention plans in your county, go to the OROSC website at michigan.gov/bhrecovery and click on "Business Partners" in the middle of the page.

- Talk About Prescriptions—The National Council on Patient Information and Education (NCPIE) website has many resources, including signs and symptoms of abuse.
