Restaurant Meal Program

The Restaurant Meal Program (RMP) provides certain individuals who receive food assistance program benefits (FAP) with the ability to use their Michigan Bridge card to purchase prepared food from participating restaurants. 

Information for FAP Recipients:

Food Assistance Program recipients may use their benefits to purchase prepared food in certain authorized restaurants. No application is needed for FAP recipients to participate in RMP. All group members must be either:

  • Elderly (60 years of age or over).
  • Disabled (receives disability or blindness payments or receives disability retirement benefits from a governmental agency because of a disability considered permanent).
  • Homeless.
  • A spouse of a FAP recipient who is eligible for the program.

    Complete and return all 9 pages of the MOU.
