Long COVID

Long COVID refers to a chronic condition that continues for at least three months after the initial COVID-19 infection. This condition is characterized by a variety of persistent symptoms that can affect one or multiple systems in the body.  Long COVID can range from a mild condition to significantly impacting daily functioning and quality of life.

Long COVID can also be referred to as post-COVID conditions (PCC) long-haul COVID, post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC), long-term effects of COVID-19, and chronic COVID, among others.

Long COVID can affect anyone who has had COVID-19, regardless of the severity of their initial illness. Understanding this condition is crucial for appropriate treatment and support. We aim to provide information, support and resources to help navigate the challenges associated with this condition. Our goal is to foster a community of understanding while empowering those impacted by Long COVID with the knowledge they need to manage their health and well-being.
