8th Avenue closes over M-6 for bridge work in Ottawa County this Monday

JAMESTOWN, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing approximately $300,000 to improve the 8th Avenue bridge over M-6 in Jamestown Charter Township. Work includes expansion joint replacement and deck improvements.

Detour: Southbound 8th Avenue traffic should head west on M-6, west on I-196 to the 32nd Avenue exit and then east on I-196 to M-6 to get back to 8th Avenue. Northbound 8th Avenue traffic will head east on M-6, north on Wilson Avenue and west on M-6 to get back to 8th Avenue.
