MDOT meeting April 22 to discuss M-95 Kingsford project

KINGSFORD, Mich. - The City of Kingsford and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to a meeting to discuss this year’s rebuilding project on M-95 (Carpenter Avenue) from Hamilton Avenue to Woodward Avenue in Kingsford. There will be a brief presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. The meeting will immediately precede a Kingsford planning commission meeting.

Project information:
MDOT plans to invest about $2.2 million to rebuild the asphalt pavement and replace water main and sanitary sewer. Work is expected to begin this spring and be completed in August.
