Culturally Specific and Underserved Funding Opportunity
The Division of Victim Services also accepts project proposals for funding to provide services to underserved victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking at any time throughout the fiscal year. This is a flexible funding program that is intended to support organizations whose primary purpose as a whole is to provide culturally specific services. DVS reviews proposals as they are submitted. As funds become available, DVS works with organizations to match the need with appropriate available funds. This program is supported through a variety of funding sources including VAWA formula funds Services, Training, Officers and Prosecutors (STOP), Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP), and HHS Family Violence Prevention and Services Act funding.
