Michigan State University Response
Michigan State University Response
The MDHHS Division of Victim Services is in the process of securing federal funding resources that may be available to assist with counseling, emergency travel, lost wages, transportation, and other expenses for eligible students and individuals impacted by the tragedy at Michigan State University. This may include individuals who were injured, witnesses, individuals who were in direct proximity to the crime, and first responders who responded to the incident. This may also include indirect victims, who are generally family (or those bound by a familial-type relationship) of direct victims and law enforcement personnel, first responders, and/or others who interacted in a meaningful way with the direct victims.
If you or someone you know has questions about eligibility for financial assistance, please complete the inquiry form below or email your questions to the Division of Victim Services at MDHHS-MSU-Response@michigan.gov and someone from our office will contact you with updates about application information.
