Live TB Testing Workshop: this is a full in person course
Hybrid TB Testing Workshop: This is a 2 part course you must complete both parts to get your certificate:
Online portion: is on MI-TRAIN you will receive more information upon registration both on the screen and in an email NOTE: The MI-TRAIN portion will take about 3.25 hours
In Person Practicum: You will learn to administer and read the tuberculin skin test, this takes about 1 hour
Train the Trainer: This is to become a TB Testing Workshop Instructor
MEDICAL ASSISTANTS: You will need to upload or email a copy of your CMA or RMA status to MDHHS-TSTworkshop@michigan.gov in order to become fully certified to read and administer the TST. If you email the certificate, please indicate the workshop that you attended, include the workshop ID#, Date and Instructor.
This documentation needs to be turned in within 60 days of your workshop or your TST certification card and certificate of attendance cannot be awarded.
