Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Mothers and Babies Network (SET-NET)
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Mothers and Babies Network (SET-NET) aims to understand how health threats affect pregnant persons and their infants by tracking pregnancy outcomes, birth defects, developmental problems and other disabilities. Michigan's SET-NET program is currently collecting data on perinatal syphilis cases from 2022-2026.
