Michigan Autism Safety Training (MAST)
Police, Fire, and EMS will:
• Expand their knowledge of autism and autistic behaviors.
• Increase their recognition skills of persons with autism.
• Acquire information and tips on how to effectively interact with individuals
with autism and their families and care providers.
• Learn community outreach strategies that will increase support and safety of
those with autism.
The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office is hosting two MAST Training Sessions:
Evening Session: April 9, 2014 7:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Morning Session: April 10, 2014 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
