Influencer is a highly-rated class from the company that brought Crucial Accountability training to Michigan. Influencer training is for individuals, teams and organizations looking to overcome profound, persistent and resistant problems. The training provides students with the skills to develop an effective influence strategy to overcome these problems. Influencer training uses a combination of in-class practice, group participation and personal planning to develop the strategies for resolving tough issues.
When: February 27-28, 2014 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. (This is a TWO DAY training.)
Where: Cadillac Place -- Detroit
Target Audience: This training is available for all child welfare staff, including CPS, foster care, MYOI, Educational Planners, Health Coordinators and adoption staff statewide.
All materials are provided.
Participants will learn how to:
• Diagnose the causes behind any problem and create powerful strategies for driving change.
• Identify a handful of high-leverage behaviors that, if changed, will lead to desired results.
• Rely less on formal authority and more on ways to motivate and enable others to alter their behavior.
• Use the powerful Influencer model to develop and apply a robust influence strategy to anything from small- to large-scale cultural transformations.
All participants training will receive an Influencer toolkit consisting of the Influencer book, a six-CD audio companion to Influencer, a manual for following the seminar contents and making notes and resources for reinforcing learning.
