Purpose of this conference:
The Michigan Federation for Children and Families is hosting this conference in response to the need for education for appropriately assessing the needs of youth in residential settings, understanding their trauma histories, and providing effective tools and strategies for treatment and healing of these youth.

Who should attend:
?? Judges, referees and court administrators
?? Prosecutors/assistant attorneys general
?? Parents’ attorneys and lawyer-guardians ad litem
?? Probation officers
?? Juvenile detention workers, managers and directors
?? CPS workers
?? BCAL consultants and regional managers
?? MDHHS and private agency caseworkers, supervisors, program directors, administrators and CEOs
?? Tribal caseworkers, tribal court judges, attorneys and related staff
?? School social workers and administrators
?? Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs)
?? Foster Care Review Board members
?? Child welfare and other professionals and staff working with special populations such as developmentally disabled, special education students and troubled youth.
