System Policies & Processes
System policies are necessary to ensure system security and prevent unauthorized access, while system processes provide guidelines to ensure proper use of the MI-WIC system. Here you will find a listing of policies and processes related to Michigan WIC system use, each with a brief description below.
All policies and processes are currently under review for approval (updated 7/12/2012)
Clinic Processes: assist WIC Coordinators in closing an existing clinic, opening a new clinic or moving an existing clinic to a new location.
Role Management: assist WIC Coordinators in the assignment, tracking and monitoring of user role assignments to ensure system security.
System Security Policies: describes appropriate usage, monitoring and tracking of single certification users and after hours clinic use.
