Michigan Model for Health™ Pre K-12

The Michigan Model for Health™ (MMH) is a nationally recognized Pre-K through 12th grade effective and evidence-based Tier 1 health education curriculum that addresses the major youth health risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death, disability, and social problems among youth in the United States.

Six comprehensive health topics are included in the Michigan Model for Health™ curriculum with age-appropriate content and lessons emphasizing active student participation, especially in developing and practicing skills and role-playing strategies for using those skills.

  • The Michigan Model for Health™ K-12 curriculum is available in a web-based digital format and provides teachers and educators with:

  • Streaming videos, Google student worksheets and assessments, and more!
  • Lesson objective alignment with National and/or Michigan Health Education Standards and CASEL
  •      Social Emotional Learning Competencies
