Lakeshore slope restoration begins March 18 along M-25 in Sanilac County

SAGINAW, Mich. -The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $7.3 million to stabilize the slope along M-25 along Lake Huron south of French Line Road in Sanilac County. Work will include slope restoration, drainage upgrades, guardrail work and pavement markings.

Two-way traffic will be maintained via a single-lane closure with temporary traffic signals.
Safety benefit:
This work to stabilize the slope from M-25 down to Lake Huron will restore the bank and prevent further erosion, prolonging the life of the roadway while preventing further loss of the shoulder and roadside into the lake.
