MDOT public open house Feb. 18 to discuss US-127/I-496 project in Ingham County

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to attend an open house to learn more about the US-127/I-496 project in Ingham County. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Work on this multi-year project resumes in March, focusing on the southbound lanes. All work is expected to be complete in fall 2027.

Project information:
This work is part of the $205 million investment to rebuild US-127/I-496 from I-96 to I-496 that is addressing safety concerns, improving roadway geometrics, and improving vehicular movement.
