Suzanne Schulz
Commissioner
Commissioner Suzanne Schulz (D) of Grand Rapids was appointed by Gov. Gretchen Witmer effective Oct. 11, 2023.
Ms. Schulz is the urban planning practice leader at Progressive AE, an architecture firm. She has previously worked in various planning roles with the City of Grand Rapids, including on several road and transportation projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in urban and regional planning from Michigan State University. She has also previously served on the Complete Streets Advisory Council.
Ms. Schulz's commission will expire on Dec. 21, 2027.
