MDOT open house April 8 for 2027 M-63/I-94 BL rebuilding project in St. Joseph

COLOMA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is inviting the public to an open house meeting for the M-63/I-94 Business Loop (BL) rebuilding project scheduled in 2027 from Central Avenue to the Blossomland Bridge, and I-94 BL to the Bicentennial Bridge in St. Joseph, Berrien County.
The public will be able to review a project overview, status updates and details of the plans under development based on prior project concepts with community input.

Project information:
MDOT is planning a 2027 project to rebuild M-63/I-94 BL from Central Avenue to the Blossomland Bridge, and I-94 BL to the Bicentennial Bridge. As part of the planning process, MDOT is working with residents, businesses and community partners to develop project plans. The collaborative process is intended to develop a community-based vision that seeks to improve mobility and quality of life for those who live, work, explore and travel along this corridor.
