This public hearing is intended for interested persons to share their comments on MPSC Case No. U-20763, Enbridge's Act 16 application to replace and relocate a segment of Line 5 into a tunnel beneath the Straits of Mackinac, directly before the Commission. As the MPSC continues to take steps to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, this public hearing will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams. The public hearing will be transcribed and included in the case record. Any interested person may participate. Persons needing any assistance to participate should contact the Commission's Executive Secretary at (517) 282-8090 in advance of the hearing.
Because of the expected high level of participation, members of the public who wish to make a comment during the public comment portion of the hearing are strongly encouraged to pre-register by 3:00 pm (Eastern time), Monday, August 24, 2020, so the proper time limitation arrangements can be made. Members of the public may pre-register by using this registration form or by calling +1 (800) 292-9555. The administrative law judge presiding over the hearing will take up comments from those individuals who have pre-registered first.
