Jazmine Danci
Jazmine Danci, of Romulus, is the economic development administrator for the Downriver Community Conference (DCC) in southern Wayne County where she facilitates development, advances strategic projects, and helps secure funding for the region. Before joining the DCC, she spent most of her career with the City of Romulus, holding various roles, including Director of Marketing and Community Development, where she led the city's economic development initiatives. Danci holds a Bachelor of Arts in environmental policy and analysis from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Science in natural resources and environment from the University of Michigan. In 2024, she was recognized as the Shining Light Regional Cooperation Awards Dave Bing Young Leader by the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition. Danci has had a passion for community service since Middle School. Later, in college, she completed 500 hours of community service during her 4-year undergraduate degree through membership in the co-ed community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. She has been an active member of the Romulus Rotary Club for 12 years, serving as Club President twice and Secretary for several years. She chairs the Romulus Pumpkin Festival committee and volunteers for story times at her local Library every year for earth day to educate young people about the environment. Danci has been married to fellow Wolverine, John, for 11 years, and together they have a wonderful 4-year-old daughter, Joelle. Jazmine Danci is appointed to represent experts in the delivery of human, educational, environmental, or public safety services to communities and persons for a term commencing March 20, 2025, and expiring October 1, 2027.
