National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) Career Fair

Join us as we celebrate the 80th Anniversary of NDEAM with a career fair highlighting the value and
talent individuals with disabilities bring to today’s workforce. This event will feature employers,
community partners and job seekers coming together to connect, share resources and celebrate
inclusion in employment.

Our Michigan Rehabilitation Services agency is excited to invite you to the 2025 Abilities, Opportunities, and Future of Work (AOFOW) Conference, a statewide event focused on advancing disability inclusion in the workplace. This year’s conference is especially meaningful as it coincides with the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM).This event is open to businesses of all sizes whether your organization is already leading in disability inclusion or just beginning the conversation. The agenda includes dynamic keynotes, employer panels, and interactive breakout sessions facilitated by MSU graduate students, offering a space to share challenges, explore solutions, and learn from peers. Limit of two representatives per company.
Information Session for Vendors that Provide Audiology-Related Services to MRS Participants
When: October 22, 2025, 11am - 12pm.

During this virtual information session, Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) staff will discuss the importance of a needs-based approach when helping individuals with hearing loss achieve their employment goals and the consequences of an unsustainable model. MRS greatly values its partnerships with vendors who provide audiology-related services to our participants and are acting to ensure those relationships are sustainable for the future.
Vendors will have an opportunity to ask questions following the information MRS staff provide.
This information session will be recorded and posted to the MRS public website at https://www.michigan.gov/leo/bureaus-agencies/mrs/mrs-for-vendors. A Q&A document addressing questions posed by vendors will also be posted at the same location.
