APPLETON LAKE - WC - 47 - 01 - 001 - Hours for high speed boating
On the waters of Appleton Lake, in sections 2 and 3, town 1 north, range 5 east, Hamburg township, Livingston county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:
(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.
(b) Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.
The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High speed boating" is defined to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.
The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

BASS LAKE CANALS IN HAMBURG TOWNSHIP - R281.747.5 - Slow-no wake speed.
5. On the waters of the canals connected to Bass lake, sections 21 and 28, town 1 north, range 5 east, Hamburg township, Livingston county, it shall be unlawful for an operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

BASS LAKE - R281.747.6 - High-speed boating and water skiing prohibited.
6. On the waters of Bass lake, section 21, 28, and 29, town 1 north, range 5 east, Hamburg township, Livingston county, it shall be unlawful to:
(a) Operator a vessel at high speed.
(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

BIG SILVER LAKE - R281.747.2 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing prohibited.
2. On the waters of Big Silver lake, township of Putnam, county of Livingston, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day:
(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed.
(b) Have in tow,or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance. (See R281.781.1 for regulation covering the part of this lake lying in Washtenaw county.)

CLARK LAKE - WC-47-98-001 - No high-speed boating.
On the waters of Clark Lake, section 7, town 2 north, range 6 east, Brighton township, Livingston county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to operate a vessel at high speed.
"High Speed boating" is defined as a speed at which a boat reaches a planing condition.
The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

On the waters of Hi-Land lake and the canals and channels connected thereto, section 32, T1N, R4E, Putnam township, Livingston county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed when within 100 feet of any shore, dock, raft, buoyed or occupied bathing area, or vessel moored or at anchor, except when water skiers are being picked up or dropped off if that operation is otherwise conducted with due regard to the safety of persons and property and in accordance with the laws of this state. On the waters of Indian, Patterson and Bain lakes all within sections 8 and 17, town 4 north, range 5 east, Deerfield township, Livingston county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

KENT LAKE - R281.747.1 - High-speed boating prohibited.
1. On the waters of Kent lake, Green Oak township, Livingston county, state of Michigan, the following controls apply:
(a) No person shall operate a motorboat at a speed in excess of 10 statute miles per hour, except an authorized patrol boat or emergency rescue craft.
(b) No person shall operate any watercraft so as to tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance, or permit himself to be so towed.
(c) Rubber rafts and all floating devices other than boats, may be used only in swim areas or special designated areas. (See R281.763.1 for regulation covering the part of this lake lying in Oakland county.)

J. Reive's Lakewood subdivision and the bridge connecting E .J. Reive's Lakewood subdivision to Ore Lake Little Farms subdivision, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
