With more than 4,020 miles of state-designated hiking trails and 2,085 miles of state-designated biking trails in Michigan, it's easy to find a great trail experience near you. From long treks along the Iron Belle Trail to hikes along trails in state parks and state forests to mountain biking across rugged terrain, Michigan offers trail opportunities for all abilities and interests.
Please note, many trails are multi-use trails, bikers please be sure to yield the right of way to hikers and horses!
