Is an access code required?
The first time you establish a business relationship, you will be emailed an access code.

Do I have to obtain a different access code every time I log into MTO?
No. You will only be required to enter an access code when you are establishing the first business relationship with Michigan Department of Treasury.

I did not receive an access code or my access code does not work What do I do
If you did not receive an access code or the access code does not work, you can select the link on the MTO Access Code screen to request/resend a new access code.

Does the MTO access code expire?
Access codes are only valid for 5 minutes. Requesting a new access code voids all previous access codes.

How many attempts do I have before being locked out of MTO?
Upon log-in, if you have attempted the incorrect password three times, you will be locked out for 60 minutes.
When answering shared secrets, if you have answered incorrectly three times, the account number will be locked for 60 minutes.
