Check Your Refund Status

Where's My Refund?

You can check the status of your refund through the Individual Income Tax eService using either the Guest Services or Account Services portal.

Please allow the appropriate time to pass before checking your refund status: 

E-filed Returns: Allow 3-4 weeks from the date you received confirmation that your e-filed state return was accepted before checking for information.
Paper filed Returns: Allow 6-8 weeks before checking for information.

To ensure your privacy and security, the following information is required:

  • Primary Filer's Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Primary Filer's Last Name
  • Tax Year
  • Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) or Total Household Resources (THR)
  • Filing Status

 

Individual Income Tax eService

Guest Services

Using "Guest Services", you are required to answer verification questions each time you access a different option.

Account Services

Using "Account Services", when you create an account, you are only required to answer the verification questions one time for each tax year.

Inquiries

Using "Inquiries", you may ask an Account Specific question or request a copy of a letter/tax return/check or ask General Topic questions.
