7.01.02: Submitting reports with multiple pay schedules

If you have multiple pay schedules, your payroll calendar on the Employer Reporting website will be based on your longest pay period (usually monthly or semi-monthly). See section 7.00.01 Payroll calendars and due dates. Your report begin and end dates must be based on your payroll calendar. For employees on shorter pay periods, enter the appropriate begin and end dates for their individual records within this report.

Here is an example using the information in the table below. If you have employees on both a monthly and a biweekly pay schedule, submit your reports on a monthly schedule according to your payroll calendar. For your first report, enter a begin date of 6/16 and an end date of 7/15 on the Create Report screen. The report will include one set of detail records for each of the monthly employees (with those dates) and three sets of detail records for each of the biweekly employees using pay dates 6/4 - 6/17, 6/18 - 7/1, and 7/2 - 7/15.

For your next report, enter a begin date of 7/16 and an end date of 8/15 on the Create Report screen. The report will include one set of records for each of the monthly employees (with those dates) and two sets of records for each of the biweekly employees using pay dates 7/16 - 7/29 and 7/30 - 8/12.
