Public Comment on the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2025 Part C of IDEA Application

The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) will review all comments but is not able to provide a response to individual comments. Public comment is only accepted using the official methods provided by MiLEAP.

Note that all contents of public comment submissions, including contact information, is public information. Do not submit the following personally identifiable information about yourself or others with your comments:

  • Social security number or taxpayer ID number
  • Credit/debit or bank numbers
  • Driver's license/state ID numbers
  • Date of birth
  • Student related data protected under FERPA
  • Medical or health information protected under HIPAA
  • Criminal justice data protected under CJIS

Do not use public comments to report any suspected illegal activity or actions that may be dangerous to yourself or others. Only report concerns of illegal or dangerous situations with law enforcement or OK2SAY.

MiLEAP, Office of Early Education, requests public comment on the draft Michigan Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (known as Early On Michigan) FFY25 application.

The period of public participation extends from Monday, March 17, 2025, through Friday, May 16, 2025, with a window of public comment being accepted beginning Monday, March 24 and ending Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 5 p.m.
