Roger Blake, President and CEO of Merit Network, leads one of the nation’s foremost non-profit research and education networks, advancing networking, community engagement, and cybersecurity solutions to a diverse member base. Prior to his leading Merit, Roger served lengthy tenures at a global ISP and a top cybersecurity firm. Previously, Roger served as a public sector account manager at Palo Alto Networks and as regional vice president at AT&T. Roger was appointed as one of the original members of the Michigan 21st Century Infrastructure Commission, the predecessor to the Michigan Infrastructure Council. Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. His civic commitment is reflected in his local school board service and other contributions to his community. Roger has deep ties to Michigan and a passion for working to improve the quality of life for Michigan and beyond.
