Answer: A vehicle protection product is a product or system that is installed or applied to a vehicle and is designed to prevent loss or damage to a vehicle from a specific cause. 

Question: When did the law become effective?
Answer: June 14, 2009. 

Question: Do all vehicle protection product warranties fall under the jurisdiction of this Act?
Answer: Only after market vehicle protection product warranties entered into on or after June 14, 2006 fall under the jurisdiction of this Act. 

Question: Is the Vehicle Product Protection Warranty Required to be renewed annually?
Answer: Yes.
