Private Security Guard Agency Veterans

Veterans Information

    • You must apply for a license by going to MiCLEAR. Choose the “Security Guard Agency Application".  Under the section of the application titled “Armed Forces Fee Waiver” check the box.  Under the section of the application titled “Supporting Documents", attach a form DD214, DD215, or any other form that demonstrates you were separated from service with honorable character of service or under honorable conditions (general) character of service.  Submit a copy of your Military ID, Common Access Card, or other documentation that demonstrates you are a Veteran or dependent.
    • If you submit a "Security Guard Agency Application", a fee is required.
    • Yes, our Bureau has a designated Veteran Liaison.
