New MiBusiness Registry Portal Launching June 23, 2025

The Michigan Corporations Division will be transitioning to a new, streamlined system called the MiBusiness Registry Portal. This user-friendly system will enhance the experience for users, making it easier to form entities, submit annual reports and statements, and order certificates and copies. The new portal will officially go live on June 23, 2025.

Key Changes You Need to Know:

Paper Annual Reports/Statements Discontinued: Starting June 23, all annual reports and annual statements must be submitted online through the new system. Email reminders will be sent to those who have opted to receive email notifications, and postcards will be sent to those who continue to receive notifications by mail.

Orders for Certificates and Copies via Telephone: All certificate and copy orders must be submitted through the online portal. Certificate and copy orders will no longer be accepted via telephone.

System Downtime for Cutover: The system will be down from 4:00 PM Eastern on June 18 until the portal is live on June 23. Please plan accordingly for this brief downtime.
