Sentinel / Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) sampling
Sentinel sites are locations across Flint, Michigan that were continually tested to gather scientifically sound data needed to determine the safety of the water.
The sites were established by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) (now Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy [EGLE]) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in cooperation with residents.
