MVAA to host Vietnam War-era veteran pinning ceremony in Marquette as part of the 2025 Michigan Veterans Leadership Summit

On Monday, May 19, at the Ore Dock Brewing Company, MVAA will host a Vietnam War-era veteran pinning ceremony for living U.S. veterans who served on active duty in the armed forces anytime during the period of Nov. 1, 1955 through May 15, 1975, regardless of location. Any Vietnam War-era veteran who has not already received a pin is encouraged to attend. Those veterans who wished to be pinned should RSVP for the pinning ceremony by Monday, Apr. 21, by completing the registration form.
The Michigan Veterans Leadership Summit will be held May 20 and 21, and will bring together veterans, veteran advocates and stakeholders from around Michigan to discuss the challenges veterans face and new ways to better serve the more than 516,000 veterans that call Michigan home. This in-person event will feature engaging presentations on topics such as rural veterans, employment and education.
