When our veterans and their loved ones need support, the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) is here to serve them.
At the MVAA, we work hard to provide veterans and their families with the resources and connections you need to be successful and have earned through service. The Michigan Veteran Resource Service Center (MVRSC) helps veterans and their families access discharge documents, get connected to Veteran Service Officers and find services to assist in their needs.
To connect with the MVRSC, call 1-800-MICH-VET (1-800-642-4838) or complete our Seek Resource Assistance form. Our technicians are available to help you Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. You can also get help from a Veteran Service Officer near you at Michigan.gov/VSO.
Funded by the federal Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP), MVAA’s Link2Life operates as a bridge to life-saving resources for Michigan veterans and their families. For servicemembers, veterans, or family members that may be having challenges related to mental health and suicide prevention to contact our Link2Life team at MVAA-Link2Life@michigan.gov or have Link2Life - Contact you. *If you are in a crisis, please contact 988 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line or stay on the line to be routed automatically to your local 988 crisis center .

The Veterans Crisis Line is staffed by caring, qualified crisis responders who are there to help. Many of these responders are veterans themselves.
