The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to consider the possible parole of James Yant, #237696. The hearing will be conducted via video through
Microsoft Teams.

James Yant was sentenced to four terms of Life for the crimes of Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree (Weapon Used)-Habitual 3rd (three counts) and Robbery Armed-Habitual 3rd. James Yant was sentenced on June 7, 1994, out of Oakland County.
Caitlin McGinn, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
