Welding Program
Students will receive instruction in Oxyacetylene, MIG and TIG welding. The brazing and cutting of metals are also covered. Certifications are offered through the National Center for Construction Education and Research and students can earn the AWS-SENSE card by successfully completing the program. Participants can also complete the Forklift certification.
Students begin their training with classroom instruction, followed by practice on a state-of-the-art virtual welding machine, before moving on to work welding equipment used in many factories today.
