The CDL program will provide employment training and development, specific to the Transportation Industry, which will enable successful entry into a career in Professional Truck Driving. Students will receive virtual instruction through the use of simulators in various driving scenarios and road conditions. Students will also complete coursework and hands-on exercises to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck Operations permit (Forklift). Upon release, students will complete the remaining over the road training requirements with the partnering truck driving company to become fully licensed. All participants that successfully complete all aspects of the CDL program will be eligible for full-time employment with a partnering truck driving company.
