MET makes giving the gift of education easy. Anyone can gift contributions into your loved one's MET. Gifting is a great way for friends and family to help your child achieve their educational goals.
Gifting is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
Purchaser's will receive contribution cards as a part of their welcome packet. These cards are great to hand out to friends and family to encourage them to give the gift of education and make a contribution into your child's MET. If you would like additional contribution cards email us at TreasMET@Michigan.gov.
Our gift declarations allow you to provide a certificate to the Beneficiary of your contribution to a MET for birthdays, holidays, graduations and more. If a friend or relative has already started a MET, you can add to that contract at any time. All you need is the contract number. You can make an electronic payment to the contract via our secure online pay site.
