In partnership with the Detroit Historical Society

Tuesday, April 1 - Saturday, May 31

Do you love the Detroit Riverfront neighborhood? Maybe you were there for major construction milestones or joined us at the Outdoor Adventure Center for our grand opening? We want to hear from you!

As the OAC celebrates a milestone anniversary, we want to recognize our place in the vibrant Riverfront neighborhood. Working in partnership with the Detroit Historical Society’s Neighborhood Project, we are recording stories of the Riverfront and the OAC, to be shared at our 10th anniversary celebration in July and beyond.

Join us at the OAC to record a 10- to 15-minute story: a specific memory of an event or place. Email GrantE1@Michigan.gov to schedule your interview!

Recording dates:

  • April 8, 9, 29.
  • May 1, 8, 10
