Basic Investigator School
The Basic Investigator School (formerly called Basic Detective School) is designed for the new detective/investigator or officers who conduct investigations, and includes classroom lectures and workshops. This course is offered to certified law enforcement officers only. Topics of instruction include:

- Intelligence Gathering and Information Process
- Extremist Groups
- Computer Crimes
- Fraud and ID Theft
- Confidential Informants
Class size is limited. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
