A: No. MYCA is Federally funded by the National Guard and State funded program.
A: Individuals between the ages of 17 and 20, that successfully complete the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy (MYCA) program are eligible to continue their education with the Michigan Job Challenge Program. The Job Challenge Program is exclusively offered to MYCA graduates. Attendees must be between the ages of 17 and 20 on Day 1 of the Michigan Job Challenge Program cycle.
A: MYCA is partnered with Marshall Public Schools and provides credit recovery, High School Diplomas and a GED.
A: Yes – Applicants must find their own mentor. A mentor must be at least 21yr old, same gender, and live within 50 miles of the student’s home.

A: Potential Applicants must be 16-18 at the start of class.
