Suggested items include toiletries, hand sanitizer, socks and underwear.

Donations are being accepted through April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, at the MSP Lakeview Post, Ionia Sheriff's Office, Montcalm Sheriff's Office and Montcalm Community College.

The purses stuffed with items will benefit RAVE, to be distributed to survivors of sexual assault.
