Granholm Appoints Behm Judge of Genesee County Probate Court

LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of F. Kay Behm as judge of the Genesee County Probate Court for a term expiring January 1, 2011. She replaces the late Judge Robert Weiss.
Behm, of Grand Blanc, was most recently an attorney in private practice. Previously, she was an associate attorney with Winegarden, Haley, Lindholm & Robertson PLC law firm and an associate attorney with Braun, Kendrick, Finkbeiner, PLC law firm. She is also a former member of the Centennial American Inn of Court.
Behm earned her law degree from the University of Michigan and her bachelor's degree from Albion College.
This appointment is not subject to disapproval by the Michigan Senate.
