LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointments of Andy Deloney, of White Lake, and Teri Quimby, of Brighton, to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
The five-member panel, housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, is responsible for managing the beer, wine, distilled spirits and mixed spirit drink industries in Michigan. This includes licensing products and establishments and enforcing the state's liquor laws.
"Andy and Teri have been effective and efficient commissioners," Snyder said. "I am confident they will continue to support business in our state while ensuring responsible regulations to protect Michiganders."
Deloney is the chairman of the Liquor Control Commission and a member of the board of directors for the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association. He also served as vice president of public affairs of the Michigan Restaurant Association. Deloney earned a bachelor’s degree from Albion College. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She continues to represent Republicans.
