Birth Defects and Genetic Conditions:

The Department of Community Health, Genetics and Birth Defects Program is pleased to present this virtual version of the Birth Defects Toolkit.  The following are links to resources for families and professionals that may be helpful in caring for children with birth defects and genetic conditions.   A limited number of toolkits with resource materials in hard copy, filed in a handy organizer, are available at no charge to Michigan professionals who work with families of children with special needs. Click here for a toolkit order form.  Forms for ordering multiple copies of selected pamphlets are also included, and electronic updates are provided periodically. Please call 1-866-852-1247 or email genetics@michigan.gov for more information or to request a toolkit.
