Proposed Medicaid Changes
The Michigan Department of Community Health periodically issues notices of proposed policy. These documents inform interested parties of proposed changes in Michigan Medicaid policy.
Proposed policy must undergo a 30-day public comment period before it becomes final. The notices provide a way for interested parties to comment on proposed policy. People may comment by electronic or postal mail before the comment due date. Notice contents are, in effect, a draft. They do not represent official Medicaid policy.
If you would like to receive a copy of Notices of Proposed Policy, fill out the MSA-0209 - Request to Participate in Policy Proposal Review. This form is provided to you in MS Word format. Please fax the completed form to (517) 335-5136 or email to MSADraftPolicy@michigan.gov .
