On March 12, 2024, the State of Michigan adopted the 2021 Michigan Mechanical Code, the 2021 Michigan Plumbing Code, and the 2023 Michigan Electrical Code. Beginning August 1, 2024, these examinations will be based on those new codes. Regardless of when your application was approved, any exam scheduled after this date will reflect the updated code questions.
After August 1, to obtain an updated customer information bulletin (CIB) that outlines the new exam requirements and PSI contact information, please visit PSI Examinations (michigan.gov).
