Qualifications for a Mechanical Contractor's License
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in 1 or more of the following work classifications under the supervision of a licensed contractor:
- Hydronic heating and cooling and process piping
- HVAC equipment
- Ductwork
- Refrigeration
- Limited heating service
- Unlimited heating service
- Limited refrigeration and air conditioning service
- Unlimited refrigeration and air conditioning service
- Fire Suppression
- Specialty License
- Solar
- Solid fuel
- LP tank and pipe
- Underground tank and pipe
- Gas piping
- Gas piping and venting
(Credit may be requested if a minimum 2 year degree has been obtained from a recognized community college or university. A copy of your official transcript and your original diploma must be submitted.)
